Like youre fantasy of nest, tanks
Great shot. My monitor washes out a little at the high end, so can't see as much detail in the dress as I'd like, but I really like the criss-crossing lines. It's an interesting twist on the "nest" idea, since you usually think of a nest as a softer, nurturing sort of place, and these trunks don't look very soft at all!
I like how you use her expression to turn the external form (surrounding trees) inward to a personal "nest", a place of retreat, solitude and safety.
It would almost be interesting to take the same idea (model, pose, expression) but place it in the middle of a noisy, confusing, blurred and cluttered environment, underscoring the ability of the mind and heart to cut ones self off from the noise around us and enter the inner world. Just a thought...
The picture's really great. Good colors and good lines. Too bad for the fence but not a big deal ^^
Thanks i wanted the fence to be part of the composition
this bring to mind, that in the early days of the colonisation of Northern America, the natives would abduct whites folks to replace their own lost family menbers. The surprising thing is that after living years with the 'savages' ....they did not want to go back living with their own family...
hard and strong nest
